So if you are red for the week on half green hours you are required to go to a meeting. They always send the comanagers or the store manager. Well my store manager said that she was tired of going and was going to send me. That's fine I'll go because I'll tell them the truth. I have no problem telling the higher-ups how things are I'm not going to sugarcoat it. That's what by district Cordinator likes about me. Then a couple hours after my store manager telling me that she was going to send me she came back and decided that she was going. I wonder if she thought about it and knows that I will tell the truth how things really are.
That is so true just like every program they rollout they rush through it. Put a Band-Aid over any problems and pray to the holy shopping cart that everything works out which it never does!
They don't care what you think. These stupid meetings are created to give them something to do and accomplish NOTHING. I flat out don't go to ANY meetings; COMPLETE waste of time.

Well let's not forget the surge help. Hey, here's an idea. Let's make sure were green by ensuring that our dairy and produce departments are a wreck as we steal their clerks while adding zero hours to the front end! Then when dairy or produce needs help, there will be ZERO "surge stockers" from the front so we'll just let a $20/hour co-manager low on the totem pole help the $10/hour produce clerks.

Your manager probably decided to go because if you had gone to the meeting and spoke the truth without sugarcoating it, the DM probably would have torn your manager a new one, and you know how manager are afraid to have their precious bonuses and vacations taken away from them. Plus, if you had gone to the meeting and got your manager in trouble for speaking the truth, your manager would probably punish you for getting them in trouble with their bosses.
