How does the manager select what order the names are on the schedule?
Is there a way to put the manager then back-up at the top and then list everyone else by seniority?
Yes, actually, on the employee's personnel screen in eschedule, there is a box in the bottom right with lots of various options, one of which is titled "dept mgr" or something similar. If a "y" is put here, the employee will be listed at the top of their dept's schedule and, if a total store schedule is printed, will be listed with all the others with the same option as the first section titled "Management".

Is this in the schedule writing screen or on greatpeople.me screen?
And, no ours hasn't been listing workers by seniority. There are 3 of us with the same years but the one with the least months is at the top...

Neither. Like I said, it's on the employee's personnel screen. The one where you set primary/secondary labors. And eschedule will generally display the schedule by seniority, but for some reason, there will be a few ppl who get displayed out of order. It also depends on which report the schedule writer runs to print the schedule.
