45 day probation

I'm on 45 day probation and have 2 ear infections + Bronchitis. How should I approach this? Call in with Doctor Excuse in hand, or let management decide on sight? I work in Meat Dept. and with this bronchitis I have a never ending, loud cough.

go in with a doctors excuse that says you cannot work until such and such date. i dont think they can deny you that

If they have been cutting hours in your department you should be ok.  When did the doctor say you could go back to work?
