Direct deposit is where your weekly check is directly put into a bank account each week for you to spend. Paper checks come in sometime the day of payday and DD is on tuesday mornings at 2am.

To do DD you'll need to add it in your profile at ess.kroger.com you'll need either a front end manager, co-manger, or manager to help you setup your ExpressHR profile so you can create the acount. once set up you'll get 1-2 more paper checks before the DD becomes active
