I don't know how scheduling vacations works for any other locations but at my store, we must go through the head store manager to have her mark the date we want on the vacation calendars. In early October 2015, I did just that because I wanted Halloween week off. Unfortunately I could not get that week off but the Store Manager said that I could have the first full week of January off. I said "Okay, if that is the soonest you can get me, I'll take it." She marked it on her Calendar.
Fast forward to today, I get an early look at next week's schedule (First full week of January) and to my surprise, I am still scheduled to work. They gave my vacation week to two other people and they have no idea where the store manager's vacation calendar for Checker's is.
This is the kind of incompetence I deal with from my upper management team. This is not the first time they have royally screwed my schedule.
Did you also put it in E-Schedule? The calendar is missing, so is it possible the manager doesn't remember? Just curious, you're the only employee in the store? If so the manager shouldn't have any problem remembering what you want, right?

OP here. Way to be sarcastic about it.
Look. At my store, the e-schedule doesn't matter because my store manager doesn't accept those. How? I don't know.
We have to go directly to her and get the OK. She marked it down back when.
holy **** im basically having the same issue with my supervisors. they told me that i was gonna have the first week of january off and that i didn't need to do anything else to make sure i got my vacation, and now after taking a look at my schedule and talking to my supervisors im stuck working this upcoming week anyways
I would get a manager to go with you to the store computer and tell them you want them to help you put it into eschedule and help you make sure it is done correctly. That way they can't go back and say it didnt go through.
