Hi. I'm wondering how long it took you to get a call back after your drug test and background check? I interviewed a week ago and still haven't gotten a call.
Late last year Kroger went with a different company that handles the paperwork and testing paperwork.
This in turn added additional days to the amount of time it takes between taking the test and getting hired.
I have heard from some recent hires at our local Kroger that it can take up to a month now.
I don't recall the exact time it took me in 2014, but I think it was something to the effect of about ten days.

Which is one reason turnover rate is so high.
Kroger spends thousands on turnover and yet could easily change policies or fix certain problems. Instead, they want only head count and lose money on a daily basis through paying for drug tests and background checks.
