I don't know how much clearer "Termination if tardy one more time" can be.

How long have you worked for Kroger?  If you're past your probation period, they can't fire you for being late.  They have to follow a chain of discipline: verbal warning, written warning, 3-day suspension after 3 written warnings, indefinite suspension.  If they try to fire you before going through all that, find a union steward and do not sign anything.

The easiest thing to do is be on time from now on.  Then you won't have to worry about being fired.  It's just that simple.

I have worked at krogers for 3 years as a courtesy clerk

I called in sick a few times (And yes I was sick) and a no call no show, I had no way of contacting them and I lacked transportation

They said If I missed one more day of work I would face termination

Will it get a 90 day probation period or is that it (Losing my job doesn't bother me because I am leaving kroger in May)

 Contracts are different.

Here

Verbal

Write-up

Suspension

Termination

is adequate if they want to get rid of you.   Obviously if they are feeling lenient they can add a 3 day suspension or anything they want really.

Read what you signed.  That is probably the final step with a 90 day probation.  I am guessing if you mess up within the next 90 days, you will be terminated.  Don't mess up in the next 90 days and the write-up process starts over at step one.

If you are going to sign anything, make sure you get a copy.

It stays for 6 months under our contract before it goes away.

Yep, not all contracts or managers are the same.  My manager lets attendance slide.  The OPs' manager might be trying to get rid of them.  The best person to ask would be the OPs' shop steward if they have one.

If you're on probation they can fire you if they don't like the brand of toothpaste you use or the time of your fart. If your past probation why continue to be late?

My store is this:

1. Verbal
2. Verbal
3. Written warning
4. Written warning
5. Written warning
6. Suspension
7. Indefinate suspension (they need te to get your termination papers ready for you to sign)

Our store is pretty lax. We RARELY terminate late arrivals. Each store is different. Just be on time, if calling out, make sure you call. Don't pull a no call no show
