I just saw this an hour ago, no I can't reveal my sources but I saw an inner office communication re ALL Kroger employees to get a 20% raise in pay, effective April 10.

 

If anyone else gets something they can post about this, please do!!!

I don't believe the pay raises but in all seriousness something needs to be done...they can't even keep new hires at all right now. My stores deli is losing new hires left and right. I know today the deli manager and someone else had to work 10 hour shifts because of call offs.

i'm all for a 20% raise. at least then I'd be able to afford food.

But it depends on which UFCW local is pushing it and if it's going to extend to all other areas.

 Believe it when see it. But, if the do, will there be a reduction in ELMS hours?

The company would like to toss out some chump change in exchange for gutting medical benefits.

UFCW Local 455 (Houston) is in early renegotiation; anywhere else?
