I'm sick but still came to work and tried to make it through the day. I was on lunch break. I got up to clock in. Sat back down to take my medicine and ended up falling back asleep/ Manager sent me home and said we will talk about it later. Will they fire me?
If you tell them of your condition and show the prescription they may let you off with a warning. Either way, you WILL get that warning. However, you may want to talk to your doctor about med alternates or ask about side effects prior to taking them. Some meds may warn against driving, working with heavy machinery, drinking, or moving about unnecessarily
It would also depend on whether you went to a doctor or not. What medicine were you taking? OTC or prescription, and what were the warning/side effects?
They know I'm sick and I'm on steriod pack, 2 anti-biotics, and muscinex D and Cough syrup. They knew I went to the doctor and knew I had a fever. If the fire me can I go to the union about it?

The hell with them. You came in, they knew you were sick, you tried. That's cold hearted if they give you crap for trying. I guarantee if you would have tried to call in they would have given you a hard time, make you feel guilty, insist you come in. I wish you would have called in then it would be on them.
Let them give you a warning but don't sign anything. Tell them sorry but that's all.
