Thinking of calling a strike in Cincy

Conditions have gotten completely out of hand. Management has us coming in early, staying over late, missing breaks and raises are being denied based on b.s. Contract is being totaly violated, need some advice.

Coming in early and staying late?  Must be nice, I'm in cincy/Dayton area and my store won't allow overtime, and I could use the money.  In fact, my store has been cutting hours since last November, and they're still cutting.

cutting hours cause you dont have enough sales to warrant getting the hours you need or have too many people scheduled to work?

missing breaks and raises are being denied-----> call the union

You had breaks to begin with? Part of life in the Southwest Krogers. If you take one, you are even farther behind. They know it too.

Oh, we have the sales, we even had people until they quit because of little or no hours.   We have greedy managers who want to make their bonuses.   What management fails to see is that when they cut staffing, it's not only us employees having to do more work, the customers suffer by having to wait longer at the deli counter, at the checklanes, etc.  Trust me, us employees hear the complaints from customers.  So when the complaints get to management, we get blamed for not "picking up the pace".  It all leads to sales falling and us employees getting blamed.
