So today was my 3rd day and I'm already ready to never bother showing again. First of all they hired me for O.N. stocker (which I requested) then put me straight on days as a c c. and the store I'm at is balls out crazy every damned day, all day. And I mean NO help, we're on a skeleton crew.
Second, third and all else----no breaks, lunched cut in half, madatory o.t., you name it. Oh and before any sez anything about union, forget it. Ours in useless (forgot to mention I worked for Kroger before).
The Kroger I recently left was on a skeleton crew and "NO OVERTIME" allowed at all. Someone calls in they won't replace them. And the work better get done anyway. Our new hire turnover rate was second highest in the state.
One of my friends/ex-coworkers usually post what time she works for the day, and the other day she was working a 10-hour shift. Another day, she had a split shift, which I thought was against union rules. And when I was there, no overtime under any circumstances. Then if things didn't get done, write-up.

Needed to rant, thanks
OP here. Yall can quit feeling sorry for me and responding with helpful hints personally relevant anecdotes----I made this sh!t up. I'll be making more sh!t up as I go along, and you stupid people will keep believing it.
I feel kinda like a little kid beating off while he pulls fly wings

What I want to know is why do you feel the need to do such a thing? It accomplishes nothing.

Also, the problem you "made up" could very well be one that one or more Kroger employees could be facing. So in your feeble attempt at humor, you probably ended up helping someone.
