could somebody explain why Kroger wanted two week schedules? I have always wrote my schedules down but sometimes when I check the schedules on the wall I have to make sure I remember what week we are in so I do not look at the wrong schedule. People are getting confused looking at two or three schedules at the same time. The confusing part is why is the previous Saturday now on the new schedule also. When did we start having eight days in a week? You have to remember to make sure you look at Sunday and not Saturday from the previous week. Whoever came up with this was smoking something.
These two week schedules are a nightmare. "More convenient", my ass. For some people such as ones who are in college, it makes it even more inconvenient. There are always things that pop up a couple days in advance that we have no control over, so we are forced to call off work when that happens. Now they make it even harder for us by making it 2 weeks in advance. It's very easy to request days off, and they get approved 99.9% of the time anyway, so what's with this 2 weeks bullcrap?

Kroger is retarded. End of story.
Kroger..full of upper management trying to justify their positions by coming up with trash programs that ruin a working system.
You now have to put in requests like 3 weeks in advance, and its a pain in the ass, most of the time i don't know what day i need off until a week or two before. I know people had complained before about how other places did 2 week schedules but i think everyone hates it. I know the department heads hate it too, trying to figure out that far in advance how to schedule.
