2016 Associate Survey is Coming
Permalink

Tell Kroger how you feel People good or bad

The 2016 Associate Survey will take place June 6-24 and gives you an opportunity to share your thoughts and opinions on whats been working well and where we can improve.  Your feedback is important and helps us create an even better place to work.  Last years survey results provided great insights into what matters most to our associates, leading to improvements across the company, including the introduction of the new two-week, advance notice schedules. In 2015, nearly 300,000 associates responded to the survey and each response helped leaders at all levels highlight successes and work with their teams to create action plans for improvement.

The survey will contain a number of questions where associates can choose a response that best represents their feelings. There will also be two open-ended questions this year where associates can type in their thoughts and ideas. They are: What would make Kroger a better place to work? and What do you like best about working at Kroger?  This is a great way for you to share your specific ideas on how to make the company a better place to work. Your open-ended responses last year helped drive real, positive change and we know your feedback on both of these questions in 2016 will help leaders plan for the future.

The results of the survey will be shared with company, division and district leaders in August. More details will be coming soon about how you can participate but as a reminder, the survey is not the only chance for you to provide your feedback.  You can also:
Talk to a Cultural Council member or Customer 1st Promise Team member
Meet with a member of your management or HR team
Share your thoughts and ideas on Yodel

Kroger doesn't care one bit about associate "insights". If Kroger did, conditions in stores wouldn't be nearly as bad as they've become.

This is just something that Kroger does to give the appearance that the company is interested in improving conditions in stores, when in reality, not a damn thing is going to change - unless of course we're talking about things getting worse.

Yeah. Improvements, my ass. How about fix things that ARE broken, instead of trying to "fix" things that weren't broken in the first place? Here's an idea: fix QueVision, or better yet just get rid of it entirely. Also, go back to one week in advance scheduling.

My opinion won't matter anyways. No one's opinion will.

The (extremely negative) survey results at our store placed us near the bottom of our district. We were told it's our fault if we hate our jobs and that if we hate our jobs so much, we were free to clock out and leave. After our store management said that, our already understaffed store lost about ten people that had had it with management's verbal abuse and uncaring attitude. The store has never looked worse as a result.

I never even heard what our survey results were.

Did your stores have the "correct", desired, positive answers ("Yes! Kroger is a great place to work, and I'd recommend it to others!") posted on the wall above the computers where associates took the survey?  Was this widespread or just some country-fried cheatin' whipped up by "Mister Graig" in The Big D(ishonest) 12?

Mind did, and has, for like the past two or three years. Something like that should definitely be considered going AGAINST the so-called "Kroger Values" that Kroger loves to tout! I thought the whole point of the survey was that there were no right or wrong answers and that the survey was intended to provide, you know, INSIGHT, into what works and doesn't work, so that Kroger could keep what works and improve/change what doesn't. Of course, we all know that the survey, year after year, means nothing and is only meant to give the perception that the company cares about us when we all know it really doesn't - otherwise conditions in stores wouldn't have been allowed to deteriorate for years and reside in the terrible state that they are today.
