Does anyone know when the next adh program for the front end starts in the southwest division. I know it starts in August, but when in August. If I've been chosen should I know by now?!
No, Assistant Department Head training is not a 20 minute course, in my division at least, it's a 4 week training period where you go to Cincy as well as a training store. Sounds like they do that the same way in the Southwest div.
If you were chosen to go, i'd say you probably would know by now but that depends on how competent management is. i'm currently in the program actually and my coordinator didn't even pass along to my training manager that she was going to have someone come to her store.

Maybe Cincy's just freaking weird then, it wouldn't surprise me, i've heard the reason for all this is because the manager turnover rate is insanely high right now.
Any idea why it's 4 weeks there and 8 weeks here? And when they start new programs do they start it at the very beginning of that month or do they let a week or so pass? How often do they have new programs in that division?
Might be related to how much experience you have in that dept and the actually dept. I think the one in my store he did a checklist and videos upstairs. This was for produce tho, maybe it is more for other dept.
Not sure how often but it seems like its about every other period or so. All the departments went together too, deli/bakery, produce/floral, drug/gm, front end and grocery.
