I have a dream. One day, when I walk through the door as a customer, I will not be bombarded by fake greetings. I will be able to get a clean, quiet shopping cart as I walk through the doors of the interior hallway. I will be able to ask associates where basic items such as toilet paper and soup are. They will give me an aisle number instead of a life story. The items I need will be fully stocked, in date, and properly faced. As I navigate towards the checkout, I will not encounter any pallets in the aisle or unaddressed spills. The line will not be long, and I will be taken care of by a person who is a cashier, not a dairy clerk that fumbles with produce codes. The bagger will not be texting, tweeting, snapping, or looking at Krogerforum.activeboard.com. Instead, he will quietly bag my groceries placing cold items together and separating chemicals from food. He will offer to carry my things out but will not be let down upon my declination of the service. As I make the concluding stroll to my car, I will not be harassed by some ghetto fundraiser.
and i have a dream not to hear that fake ghetto coke commercial every 15 minutes...giba giba giba im an old black guy!
our store doesn't have this one. All we have is "I treat my customer like they wanna be treated" "THIS IS MY STORE!!"
I'd like to hack into that commercial and change it from, "I'm never too busy to help a customer. Never." to "I'm always too busy to help a customer. Always."
