Store Manager trying to step Assistant and Head down.

Pretty much that. They wont out right say it, but it is clear as day. Speaking with the vets of the store they are in shock they are going this low. At this point they are finding every little thing to try to write us up for. Received an email that if we quarter punch = write up, miss any step of OrderEv = write up, markdowns not done by 9am = write up, the list goes on. Heck, we were written up for missing 4 signs in our department. Our numbers just wont stay up, no matter what we do. We will be perfect and acknowledge every customer yet have scores in the 40-50s.

Is there anything we can do? We are looking for options to bail before they step us down. There has been no support. We have been understaffed since I got the position, and have lost and will be losing more people in the next few weeks. We are running around, but there is no way we can do it all and the people we have no.

I am just fed up.

A manger cant force the issue. You need to go to the produce coordinator and tell whats going on. If you are any good, ask for a transfer and the DM will find out. You hold all the cards because nobody wants the job

Well I've just recently been promoted too so i'm going to feel the pressure now too. My home store had OSATs in the 65-69 range frequently but my new store has an OSAT in the 40s-50s. It's going to stay that way too i'm sure, since it's a really small store.

They want everything done by 9am in the bakery. They want the floor set by 9am. They want markdowns done by 9am. They want CAP done by 9am. But where I am now, i'm the only person for my 8 hour shift most days. I don't mind the store but i really hope they don't keep me there forever. I'm going to miss being in a regular sized store.

But on the other hand how are they going to make you or anyone else step down? From what i've seen - they can't get anyone to WANT the positions.

Take notes, take pictures and record your progress throughout the day. Contact your union rep and let them know whats happening. I could get most of those write ups thrown out.
