Transferring to a store that isn't Kroger

Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to transfer to a store that Kroger is the parent company of (Quality Food Center). I'm graduating from school soon and want to move to the Northwest and was wondering if they would accept my transfer. Thank you.

I think it's depends on how much the divisions want to cooperate with each other, I know someone who transferred from Kroger to King Soopers in Colorado but i think he lost his seniority. Last I heard he's an assistant produce manager though so I think he was able to get promoted quickly due to his experience.

haha I'm not looking to make Kroger a career, just a back up plan for a couple months while I find a good teaching job.

I've heard that so many times and the people end up staying for years or just quitting outright.

Call the store you're looking to transfer to and ask if they have any opening and would accept a transfer. If they say Yeah talk to the manager at your current store so they can o the paperwork. Good luck!
