I put in a personal day request for Monday next week and it was accepted, however I am still scheduled 4 days. Regularly, I would be scheduled 40 hours on any other week as a full timer. But since next week is a holiday week, full time employees only have to work 32 hours and any over is OT. So, shouldn't I be scheduled 3 days next week? 3 regular off days as part of the holiday week and then another off day due to my personal day?
I ask because my department manager is always offering me OT and getting me to work more, but I have had way too much OT and it's not even good pay. I want a break and he doesn't seem to understand this. If I am supposed to have 4 off days next week though, I will let him or management know.
