Okay so.. I'm a fairly new Employee. I had recently got that shiny new special VIP card for my discount. Well.. I tried it out and I'm not getting that discount. The person who got it set up for me said it should work but it doesn't, it works just like a normal VIP card. He did say that I would need to connect my phone number myself but I already did that. Should I go talk to another manager or is there anything I can do on my own?
when i got mine it took two weeks to go throw the system before the discount showed up on my card so it could be that or it only works on Kroger brand items in my district so did you make sure the items you bout where Kroger brand?Also be carefull if you already had a regular Kroger card before you started at your store not to get them micsted up sicn they look the same but you old one won have the discount.
If I remember correctly if you take your receipt up the front desk they'll refund you what you should have gotten off for your employee discount. This is what I hear told to new baggers/cashiers after they start. You should be able to do that until the discount kicks.
As said before, sometimes it takes a little while for the discount to start showing up.
