Does anybody know what's going on with our W2s? I was told they were lost? If so is kroger going to let it's employees know anything or let us know how they are going to protect our identities from being stolen if they are out there in the hands of the wrong person.

You should've already gotten it.

I wouldn't worry so much about that as I would filing it. Kroger will get it to you but if it's not filled out in enough time you can be labeled for tax evasion and not get any money back. The IRS targets little people because they are vulnerable. You can go to jail for this.

I never got mine from Kroger.  I had to go online to get a copy.  I did get the insurance tax paperwork proof from Kroger yesterday.  So, maybe my w2 is not far behind?...I already filed my taxes.  So all is good for me.

All you need is your SS# and your Employee ID and birthdate.  Initials followed by 5 numbers.  You would have used it to log into greatpeople.me to see your schedule or to see your paystub online.  You can try to call the store Hiring manager and get them to look it up for you.  You should have filled out a change of address form with the post office to make sure your mail follows you.

There are a lot of employees at my store that haven't received theirs yet.  I got an email about how to get a free copy online.

www.mytaxform.com or call 1-800-367-2884

Questions, call Client Service Center 1-800-996-7566

Employer code:  10575

Social Security #

Your PIN: last 4 digits of EUID plus year (YYYY) of birthdate.

Follow the prompts on the site.  You have to go thru a short confirmation dance and change password.

It took me about 5 minutes to print mine.
