At our store there is an EXTREMELY difficult-to-understand ad (relating to the pharmacy) that airs randomly over the intercom system............I can't be sure if it is a "local' ad just for our store, or district, or it is part of the feed from the In-Store Audio Network to all Kroger stores. It is so incredibly 'scratchy' sounding, like static, that no one can understand barely a word of it, even when close to a loudspeaker. It sounds like the ad was recorded with an old, cheap dime-store microphone (if anybody remembers the small microphones from the 1970s/80s that kids bought to go with their little cassette tape recorders) and then re-recorded about 5 times until the "final" recording was added to the playlist.
Does anyone know what I am referring to? Doesn't Kroger care about this? It is an absolute disgrace, and a laughingstock to anyone that has a good ear and any common sense! Thanks!
