hey guys. we just got a new front end department head and she'a stupid and rude. she sched me for 36 hours but 8 of those houre were outs of my availability (i work two jobs) i asked her to switch the shift and she said she can't and she's just gonna cross out the entire day for me. so now i have to lose 8 hours just because she cant follow availability. what can i do?
I know the head of my store would never put up with that BS.. is there a higher up you can tell? Sometimes you get lucky and have good understanding management.
Hour restrictions should not penalize you for hours. If you have requests in the e-schedule then yes your hours will be penalized. If the individual writing the schedule is penalizing you due to not liking you: that is illegal. Get your union rep on this issue. This is favoritism.
