I have some questions..I just got hired at fred Meyer to work in the nutrition department (I have no experience working in a job like this) I just got done with my orientation but I did it at a different store than the one I'm going to work at which I thought was weird. im supposed to call my store to get my schedule. Just wondering what I should expect. Are they going to give me a tour when I get there? I have no idea where to go. I haven't learned how to clock in or anything I'm so confused. Also, if anyone has experience working in nutrition, what kind of work do you do & how hard is it? also, this question might be dumb but when you first get to work after you clock in is there somewhere you're supposed to go or do you just go straight to your department? Sorry for the long post, I'm just really nervous & hoping having some questions answered might make me feel more comfortable. Thanks to any help!
Go to the customer service desk and tell them your story and ask them where to go. They'll probably direct you to the associate manager (sometimes called the hiring manager or human resources manager). He or she will then show you how to punch in and out and where to go.
