Why can't it be so simple as stocking product to the shelf? Why do we need all these time wasting scans (such as batch maintenance and lows & holes)? I can understand scanning residual backstock and changing balances on holes to zero when the product isn't there, but everything else just seems unnecessary. If we remain focused on working our trucks/backstock instead of digging for items individually just to fill holes, then we won't need to do all that unnecessary crap. It should be so simple to just stock product to the shelf
It is better to do the CAP than to just stock. This is how they know how much and what sold each day, each week, each month. This also lets them know if something stopped selling and how fresh items are. You don't want to be over stocked on something when you have your orders (trucks) come in 2 and 3 times a week.
