it was super peaceful. I knew it was coming, they sent me upstairs and my union rep was already up there waiting for me, and two co managers were there. (My favorite two - one is a female and she's very peppy and friendly, the other a sassy gay guy who worked at my old store with me for awhile)

they just explained to me what I had done, that it was just a slap on the wrist, and went over it with me I accepted a lot of coupons I thought were real, and I also accidentally had a major security **** up in the accounting room.

All in all it wasn't a bad thing. I tend to get emotional when I'm being critized but they handled it very well and were so nice with me. I love my store lol. I also accidentally handed a check back to an employee that I had cashed - but they were able to get it back.

Talk about stockholm syndrome! Why would you be excited about that lmao, they did that because they dont like you and want you out eventually. they let the people they like that either are the fastest or just general butt buddies get away with murders with no write ups, but they will scope out the weak links in the store to find the littlest problems to write them up for so they can eventually fire them. They darwinistically cull out the people they dont want there and have to do that SIR sh*t to keep up with kroger's supposed f*ckin high standards. As someone posted a while back, the f*ckin joke of a union indeed is weak and corrupt and they will throw u under the bus to keep the union stewards and store managers happy, who usually are butt buddies with each other too. I bet he just sat there with little say. You are probably on your way out, you should start looking for another job. Or just slip and fall and get disability and ruin their stupid goal bullsh*t lmao.

i'm full time, been there about 1 1/2 years. Am supervisor status, and in the union. Am also the friendliest and most helpful person in the front, and they frequently need me there because "it's super important that you are here today", even if it gives me a bit of OT.

I seriously doubt that, but I have seen the horror stories and frequently reference them. The stories i've read on here, and how one of my friends asked for a "long lunch" so she could go home and change, and when she came back she was "suspended pending investigation" .. she never came back, she's still on payroll with 0 hours.

So trust me, I have my wits about me with this company. I'm already looking for a way out, but why not make some money while i'm searching?

Significant/Situation Incident Report. Can be good or bad (99.9% bad almost ALL the time.) I have NEVER hearted of a positive SIR. ever. It's supposed to be "helpful" and in some cases it is. But why would you be happy about a SIR? ESPECIALLY a serious one?
