I need help in writing a resignation letter explaining why I'm resigning, without sounding horrible.
I want to just write: I'm resigning in 2 weeks, not because I don't like my job, but because I can't work with people when I know they don't like me and treat me like **** everyday. I can no longer do everyone else work and mine. This place obviously doesn't care about their customers or the people who work hard. If you did you would put a stop to laziness, cross contamination, filthiness, and rudeness. I can't stand by and watch customers get served food that should have been tossed away hours or days ago.
I know writing that wouldn't be a good idea, but I do want them to know the true reason they are losing a hard worker.
Write that you appreciated the opportunity to contribute to the company's success, and growth, but due to your personal goals and career vision you have made the decision to resign.
It all may sound like flowely bullsh** from your perspective, but it's just a more formal way of saying "This isn't working out" which isn't a lie.
I did a letter like this for a job that I absolutely hated, due to vustomers, management AND co-workers (it was the department store cashier gig I talked about in my thread) and the fact that I resigned was a shock because I kept those feelings bottled up and private. But in the end, it made me look classy and one of the managers I actually DID like offeref me a letter of recommendation.
Resignation letters are easy to do as I've done a few my self. You clear, concise, as little as possible. Two weeks notice for common courtesy. It does not burn a bridge.Say for example:
Management:
I am informing you that I am quitting on Month, Date, Year. This is my resignation letter.

I have had this written for over a month now, but haven't officially given it to them. Waiting for that perfect opportunity.
