Actually, ya know what, I'm having trouble thinking of any one handed tasks that can be done at the front end.

You'd be put on light duty with a doctor reccomending it (boring stuff like pushing a broom all day, cleaning, small stuff) or you'd be put on medical leave.

The ways it going, they will take anyone! Broken Arm, Broken Leg.......they already have enough people with a broken will to live....(joking). Might as well add to the list of broken things!

 You should be able to go on medical leave as ND if in the Union, the Union would pay you a certain amount while on leave.

Our light duty people mostly get put on UScan. Our store manager would NOT allow anyone on light duty to cashier.

Light Duty is only for "on the job" injuries, if you have a injury that occurred outside the workplace, your OFF
