putting on a show for them on how nice the stores are out there, when i'm sure they overrstaffed that store just to make it look good for the corporate people.

must be nice that the company has money to spend on sending all the store managers out there, but can't even let their hourly employees take their vacations when they need to.

Well the issues is comparing different stores of geographical locations / economic back grounds to others! From what I heard Smith's still runs their stores "OLD SCHOOL", do this or your out! With Key Retailing, Standards you are not allowed to take ownership or "Make your store yours!". If you look at the reviews online, associates are saying the same thing as other Kroger associates. Why hasn't this company figure out, people want to take pride in their jobs and be able to feel they accomplished something! When your told to do 5 things at once and then help 5 customers.....

Alot of people say Smith's isn't going everything up to standards either......they are just not under the watchful eye of Cincinnati KMA

Our store manager went there and when he got back nothing changed.  Just a big dog and pony show.
