Last night the person that hired me came to talk to me. She asked if I wanted to transfer to a different store I said no not really. she said there is no hours to issue... I notice I'm not on the schedule for next week. she talks low but it seemed like she said that people with senority are transferring over to my store or other depts. Ive only been here for about 3 months but does this mean that if some other person who has been here longer can just bump me outta frozen and take over?

Are you part time or full time?
Yes, you can be bumped out of your job.
You not being on the schedule might be an error. Ask a store manager before assuming the worst. Although, I have heard of cashiers being scheduled 0 hours one week and then back on the schedule the next.
If you are past your probation period, call the union to get you some hours. My store only guarantees 12 hours for part timers per the contract.

Yea I'm part time, I get about 28 hours a week. Last Tuesday I told the manager who does the schedule that I'm not on next week he took a minute and said hmm just work the same schedule ive been giving you next week. But then last night that lady comes to me about transferring and saying there are no hours. and yea I'm past the probation period. Guess ill have to ask him again to see whats going on
Just go with the flow, when they were strict on the schedule I always made sure the deserving associates got their hours. Most store will say your not needed on paper and then ask you to come in every day. Its all about the numbers in the beginning and then its a different reality when **** its the fan.
