we have a bent coat hanger that acts as a digital antenna on top of our tv. i usually turn off the tv when i go upstairs, because there's nothing good to watch.
Yep, big tv, tables, a few leather chairs and tables, and yea we have DirecTv as well. Pending on who is up there, channels usually range from Impractical jokers, Hack My Life, occasional Soap Operas, etc. But yea, no movie packages.
We have a tv with basic channels on it, and a couple of the wood tables with plastic chairs. Even my last store, which was one of the smaller, older stores, had a tv in the breakroom but the room itself was so tiny.
Have a fridge, coffee pot, a microwave, and a TV that is to be used FOR STORE BRODCASTS AND STORE BRODCASTS ONLY. NO EXCEPTIONS. ANYTIME. PERIOD. It USED to be able to get basic channels until corporate decided otherwise. So for entertainment on our breaks/lunches we listen to our own devices, talk to others in breaks/lunches or we can open the fridge and "talk" to the food that's been sitting, and sitting, and sitting in there. The food will "talk" with you depending how long it's been left in therr.

Yea, for a while there we must have had food doing some talking back as well. So they had to slap a sign up on the fridge saying that anything not in a lunch box or doesn't have a receipt and paid sticker on it, is going to be chucked on Wednesdays. Which does make sense given how jam packed it gets.
We have a fairly nice breakroom (if everyone would help keep it clean!!), several chairs, a microwave, refrig, and a large flat screen TV, it has satellite (DirectTV?) and several hundred channels available, alot of them show infomercials, and lots of channels you wouldn't watch unless you are really bored and felt like channel-surfing for a while.
The local TV channels (in our city) are usually the ones actually watched. I can say the TV show that is ALMOST ALWAYS ON during the 11 AM to 12 Noon time period is THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! (CBS, right?) It seems to be a #1 staple of viewing at our store.

Same here. I think it's because it's a relaxing diversion from work You take a break/lunch and watch a few pricing games and go back to work.
The first store that I worked at had an old style CRT TV and the only thing that was ever on it was KTV. Later on while I was still at that store, it was replaced with a flat screen TV and while KTV was still one of the channels, it was no longer just "the" channel. There were other stations, too. My second and currently third store also have flat screens (one in the break room, one in the Starbucks seating area) and also have various channels.
Our break room has a 32" inch TV. Not sure what channels it gets, but it's definitely either cable or satellite, not sure which, nor do I really care all that much. I also have a choice, see, if I'm sick of the break room, we also have the bistro area, which is two separate floors. Each floor of the bistro has two 32" inch TVs also. PLENTY of places to sit during break. I like taking my break in the bistro cause they have these very comfy cushioned seats and I can just sit there and watch the view of the entire store from the second floor. Break room only has regular hard seats.
I sort of envy whoever is the clerk at the bar. I've had a couple of shifts where I was the bar attendant once. You basically sit there and watch TV for 95% of your shift. The other 5% you're serving up drinks to wandering customers. They give you a stool to sit on! Quite possibly the easiest job in the entire store.
Anything to do with food in our breakroom is disgusting. The fridge perpetually smells like something's rotting in it, probably because something is rotting in it. The microwave is never cleaned, and only a few people with no standards with what they cook their food in will use it, and then proceed to not clean it after the fact. The table and the trash can are often indistinguishable, except the trash can does get emptied from time to time. The water fountains have a metallic taste to them and there's all kinds of crap on the surface they've accumulated over the years of not being washed, which you have to stare at if you're enough of a masochist to actually lean over and drink from it.
We do have a TV. I don't know how many channels there are all together, but there is usually 1 of 3 channels on at any given time; either the local news, a channel with all the old TV shows (MASH, saved by the bell, Brady bunch, etc.), or whatever the Wendy Williams show airs on. I don't know who puts it on those channels, most of us just tolerate it in the background while we're on our phones.
I've started just eating lunch in my car.

And then there are the downsides.
