The schedule gets posted every Friday but eSchedule usually shows 2 weeks worth of schedules - current week and next week. But the next week schedule might change by the time Friday comes around which is the last day the department head/backup/co-managers can make official changes to it.
By the way, the posted schedule is ALWAYS the schedule you follow. Even GreatPeople says that

eScedule is not posted 2 weeks in advanced that is a lie. It is posted on Fridays when they feel like posting it. And my scedule is always the same as escedule that was also a lie.

I do believe this poster meant, it shows the current week you are working and the next weeks schedule. Which it does show. As for when it is posted. The paper copy in store has to be posted my noon on Fridays. E-Schedule usually updates around 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. that afternoon.

Paper schedules are NOT always the same as e-Schedule. E-schedule is locked for department manager on Friday and changes can't be made. Plus in the contract, changes in the schedule can be made through Saturday.
When is the schedule posted, and does the e-schedule get posted the same day?
At my store the paper schedule is up at noon on Thursdays and on e-schedule it is up after 1 p.m. or so they say. As I know there are times I have tried checking it when I was off only to have to wait like another 2 hours or so before I could get it. That's why I prefer to be on when they post the paper one and that way I can write it down and have it at the ready to put up on my calendar at home and also to be ready if they decide to call me and tell me about switching a day with someone for whatever reason.
