I'm not 100% sure about the sick leave thing per se. But what I have seen from experience with folks getting sick in bakery at my store/in my dept. Folk call off pretty much every day of them being sick. And then bring in a medical excuse note to cover it.
But might want to check with your store and even the contract to see what's what to be on the safe side.
No I am talking about calling out sick-how many days do we get?
If you're asking about "paid sick days" then most of the modern union contracts don't have that. I think it the only Kroger employees that get paid sick days are the ones that were hired on a very long time ago under an older union contract. If you call in because you're sick, you don't get paid. Under my union contract, if you call in three days in a row because you're sick, you need a doctor's note upon returning for the absences to be excused.
Most Divisions the answer is no unless you're an ASP or Manager. I think their maybe 1 or 2 union contracts that do, but in general, the only areas of the company that has sick days are the ones that are in a State or Municipality that require it by law. So if you're not guaranteed it by law then check your union contract, but more than likely no.
