You ever see customers who come in every single day?

I don't know about you but, I would hate coming to a grocery store every single day as part of my routine.

I see this particular couple, they shop at my store every single day, without fail. 90% of the time they come through my Uscan. They mostly buy beer, at least 5 or 6 cans, every day. They never miss a day. Been months now.

We have several customers who come in every single day. There are a few who come multiple times. It's mostly older people. I think we are probably their only form of socialization sometimes and they are lonely so they just like to come in to buy something so they can talk to us for a few minutes. I try to be more friendly towards older people because of this.

I've never been a particularly nice, 'glad-to-know-ya'-people person to begin with-----but too many years of working in retail burnt me out crispy on all things humanity. A few years away from it and I'm getting a little better now.. biggrin

But yeah, that used to eye roll me to death: same peeps, every day--sometimes multiple times a day. And many of them annoying as a summer cold, always whining and crying 'why are you out of this??' and 'how come this is so much???' And I know about the whole lonely thing old people get into, but I still say, get some hobbies. Get a pet. Start some gardening, go to the library, something other than haunting a grocery store for the rest of your life no

My store also has people who come every day or every other day. They usually buy the same exact items too. I think older people just like grocery stores.

I see daily regulars in here like they have no food in their house.  I talked back to one of them and she got all racy pissy with me and got the fes (same race as her) to back her up then I got pissed on verbally by management.  She was trying to get cash for a return without a receipt.

For sure I've seen SEVERAL peeps come in everyday at my store. In particular this one guy that works at one of the local fiber glass plants. He'll be retiring soon from what he has told us. So he will be living at the store then for sure I can imagine. I really hope not though, as he is starting to creep out some of the other associates at times as he is always lingering around the counter. And when he does get something he gets super snippy about it with most peeps too. Hell even told me a time or two to stir up sandwich spread or potato salad like 3 times before giving him any.

We also have others that come in constantly and see what we have marked as free. But as we aren't doing that so much any more in the bakery aside from the pastry chef's items. And I think some people are flat out getting mad about it. It's kind of funny but still damn too.

Yep. We have this one guy come in every single day like clockwork. He gets 3 budweiser's and a pack of Marlboro 72s. He come in even on Christmas if he could. But he's always been polite. I've gone to calling him Smokestack to which he thinks is funny.

Our store is surrounded by apartments.  If it's only a minute or two to walk to the store, why not?  We have a ton of every-day customers.
