Have people noticed instacart shoppers are no longer nice? Theyve become nasty, rude and rudely tell you how to do your job in an unprofessional way. I no longer have respect for these people. Once upon a time the regulars use to be pleasant and fun now theyre nasty shoppers. Maybe 5% of them are decent to talk to.

I haven't noticed this, but if this is really the case I would guess it is because they are ALSO under a lot of pressure to HURRY UP and do their job as fast as possible, get out of the store and get the groceries to their customers at home...................that pressure sounds a little like Kroger, huh?
My store is so bad I've written a letter to the company demanding an offical oppology to our front end staff. Seriously. I sent it off in email and mail yesterday. That's how bad my location is. They're worse than my worst customer of the day and more difficult than the one in a hundred that's just an ass hole.
They always like to grab my scan gun to scan their phones. Pisses me off, and especially when they try to start their order before I'm done with the previous customer.
They also tend to be weird about bagging, and many of them prefer to bag the whole order and then pay. CCG's aren't as important these days, but years of management threats and harassment have sunken in. It's nice when it's online pay, though.
I'm one of the faster cashiers, so they like to come through my line.
I've had one get pissy with me when I told them how much they saved. "No, I didn't ****ing save anything. Instacart, remember?"
It's hilarious when they go through a line with a slow cashier. One cashier is a possible senile grandma who has no idea what she is doing.
Some of them want me to show them where every item is.

I don't mind showing them where one or two items are, but I'm NOT gonna do their job for them. I already have my OWN work to do and I already have customers that are shopping for THEMSELVES in the store that need help.
yes I have. As a customer I am treated terrible. Last night Jessica (shopper) once again was rude six or seven people saw the whole exchange and told meto report her. I am quitting Instacart as most of the time I get nasty shoppers. I was very upset last night. Nobody needs that.
We get some that dont tell you the order is seperate from each other. And if you come in the middle they ask "which one is Order A?" And Heaven help you if you have no clue or say you dont know. The looks you get can kill a dead person. Again.

They USED to be cool. Now a majority of them are rude and weird af when they come up. Once in a while some will ask "can I substitute this product for this one being as you are out?" I simply tell them, they should ask their customer because I'm not going to make the decision for them." Apparently that's a "sin" according to Instacart. Apparently, they want YOU to make the choice, and sometimes YOU to do THEIR shopping for them. Yeah....not sorry, but I got my own things I need to do...
This has been an issue for several years. Most of them are yes @$$ holes. I have one black lady be a di-ck and told me how to scan items and I had to put my foot down after a couple minute sof her ridicule and told her I have been doing this job 12+ years I think I know how the fu-ck to do my job. Belittling me like I was a fu-cken newbie while chatting a way on her phone only interrupting to spew an insult or two. I told her I was this close to calling the manager to finish up for me then she shut up and apologized.
