the two week notice you gave to your CSM said a certain date in the middle of next week was to be your last day, but the schedule they've posted online for next week completely ignores that date and has you scheduled the whole week?

You could take a chance and not show up, but they may get mad but too bad if they do. If you have another job lined up or an interview that day go to that. So you have a copy of your notice to your csm, that way they cant say job abandonment

If you gave them written notice with the last date of your employment, then they can't do anything if they schedule you after that date and you don't show up.  If you say your last day is going to be October 3, 2019 for example, then as of October 4, 2019 you are no longer a Kroger employee.  You can't get in trouble if you're no longer an employee.

Yeah, I definitely have another job lined up, in fact it starts next week. When I gave the CSM the two week notice, it had my name, my EUID, my address, everything. It also had that day's date on it, and it had the exact date that I specified to be my last day, exactly two weeks. I gave it to the CSM, watched him read it, and I asked him if everything's good with the notice, he said, yep everything's good. Then later that day he told me he turned it in to management or HR.

For you, it's perfectly fine.  If your schedule allows, I bet you could even clock in and work those shifts.

For your coworkers and managers, it could be quite uncomfortable if they aren't aware you won't be there.  This is likely the case.

Pretty common. Your last day is the last day you choose it to be. If they schedule you beyond that it's their problem.

They need you to quit with no notice and without giving any reason.  Could deny you some rights like maybe to unemployment insurance.  This lying company just sucks real bad.
