Several people in my store are wondering what the next step would be-is it the same for a manager versus an hourly employee. Another compliant has been filed against her for the same issue she was verbally admonished on.

RE: Co-manager just got verbally reprimanded and a note placed in her file-what is the next step if there is another iss
Most likely is she'll be transfered to another part of the company where she doesn't interact with hourly employees. Depending on how severe the complaint is, she may be required to attend an anger managemant seminar. She would only be fired if she struck an employee or if she made a threat of bodily harm.
Report it to the kroger ethics board. They'll investigate it. Verbal reprimanding should be a no no. I've worked in offices whee they've fired people on the spot for that type of attitude. That shouldn't be even remotely allowed here.
Depending on the severity of the issue, number of issues, she may be transferred to another store. If she makes inappropriate comments based on religion, race, or sexual preference she may STILL be transferred to another store. Especially if she is 'well liked.' But if its extreme, well liked or not, she may be terminated.

The person in question is a black female who thinks the world owes her- I have heard rumors in our store that she said she would sue Kroger if she was fired
She would only be fired if she struck an employee or if she made a threat of bodily harm.
Krogrr sets the bar high for ethics and professionalism, doesn't it.
But...but...you get a ten percent discount! And extra fuel points! Are you telling me dealing with bullcrap is not worth extra fuel points! Because it is! Kroger says so!
