Why is my store manager telling Clicklist customers to pay inside the store? New policy?

Is there a new policy. The store manager tried to tell a clicklist customer to pay inside. The Clicklist customer refused, then got mad. Store manager also told a customer service person that, Clicklist is supposed to pay inside. Why? Any new updates about Clicklist?

Click list pays online. I am a well seasoned cashier and have never heard of such a policy. Cashiers have no clue how to take their payment as click list s on a completely different system.

 So then what happens when items have to be substituted or a requested item is out of stock?  The totals won't match.

Substitutions are the same price as the what the customer ordered, unless it is a cheaper item. The system fixes all the prices when we order marshall.

Isn't there some times when payments will "fail" and payment will need to be submitted?

 Click list person will know and when the customer get's to the click list area click list attendant will come out and assist. They should have tablet's they carry they can change the payments.
