imho, the employee survey isn't actually about the employee. It's a management review dressed up as an employee are thing. You don't see the results and it all depends on how much corporate likes your managers.

Nope, every year they do the survey and nothing changes, except maybe a change for the worse...
Something did change this year. # 1 I left and # 2 all the firings but I doubt that had anything to do with it. I knew the day I took the survey I was sleaving just hadn't told anyone. They was saying to me take the survey take the survey. So I took the blasted survey and did not say anything good.

You never left.!! I was sleaving just hadn't told anyone. They was saying to me take the survey take the survey. lol this is why Kroger is the best youll ever get!
I once saw last year's results on the wall in the hallway to the break room at my store. It wasn't pretty. Our idiot of a store manager is still here, though. But I'm told there is going to be a second wave of lay-offs soon, so here's to hoping.
In reality the Associate Survey is a rating on the STR MGMT and also Division Leadership. Why there isn't any change:
1. Its a Yearly Survey (How can you make progress if you don't have an official rating quarterly to see if anything is improving)
2. If a STR Leader changes then the past Survey is basically voided (A survey is a rating at one point in time, with a lot of MGMT/Employee changes, all data is basically invalid)
3. Who at GO is holding Division Leadership accountable to improve the Survey results?
4. What happens if a store has a bad score year after year?
5. What in the survey is something STR MGMT can control? (Yes, STR MGMT can communicate more, but does a STR Associate really care the store was up 10% in sales? Won a sales contest that won the Meat Manager a Yeti?)
Is the Associate Survey similar to "Highly Satisfied" and other scores, you place the goal at a highly unachievable goal to achieve the wanted goal of "Satisfied".
They dont give a damn what you say in that, so of course nothing really changes. I was honest about any problems I have and suggest how it can be fixed but I dont expect them to listen
I always request a soft serve ice cream machine in the deli/bakery department.
Never happens.
That's one thing you don't want. Years ago we had a frozen yogurt machine and the price was so much for a small, so much for a mefium and so much for a large. I had this one bitch come through my line with a small container piled a foot high with frozen yogurt and I had to ring it up small container price. Later on they changed it to by the pound. Eventually, they got rid of it. I can just see people walking out with cones of soft serve piled a foot high or more.

I'm surprised the machine worked at all. We've had simple fountain drinks and 95% of the time the machine was out of order.
After I said that the training was non-existent they started pulling people from busy stations at random times so we could try to do random 10 minute training modules in 8 minutes or less. This went on for several hours. Probably coincidence. Nothing so far this time. You know those things are just more spying, right?
