Check the comments under this post "fresh for everyone" kroji video.. - 1k and I couldn't find but a couple that were positive.. And yet Rodney keeps pretending things are good..Same complaints about the stores not being stocked, poor service, to many self checkouts etc.. - the shopping experience is poor This is mostly due to all the cuts. Stop lying to share holders - over promising and wasting money on attempted superficial, quick confidence boasters for share holders - like Kroji's - Customers do not care about your cartoons.. I know you think they are dumb Rodney, but they just want good deals, shelves stocked, and friendly help..
Gutting hours.. Yet Rodney says "We are spending more money on labor then ever before" - He is lying - most SM simply can't cut as much as they want without having all the shelves empty.. So even though their DM is threatening their jobs constantly (and his vp/president is threatening his) over OT - those who do meet the expectations of OT, end up being threatened for poor store quality... As SM we know what's going on at the store level - the company rep is so tarnished no one wants to work here - those that do come in don't stay long because of the poor work life balance and angry, toxic atmosphere due to all the cutting.
The post with the expired Italian seasoning in the hair dye kit was a backfire. The Kroger replier trying to be humorous got raked across coals by other posters.
More than likely someone shoplifted the dye and put the seasoning in the box as weight. Employees can't control that. Kroger will definitely make it right tho whether it is real or not.
Basically, there are literally HUNDREDS of comments that have been posted, following a consistent theme:
"I used to like going to my Local Kroger but I had a terrible experience.......... or this was bad, or that was awful, or the lines are long, or I had horrible service at the deli, or the store was dirty, the shelves were empty, or I couldn't find this and that, or the Clicklist carts are in the way, or the customer service employee was rude , or , or , or ........you get the picture?? HUNDREDS of complaints along those lines.
Each complaint is "officially" answered by someone at Kroger (who? No actual names, and no way to tell where they are located, how high up in the company, etc) and they reply something like:
"I am so sorry to hear about your experience at Kroger, we strive to please our customers and this is not who we are. Please let us know the store location you are referring to and we will contact management about this problem. I hope you have a FANTASTIC DAY!!! "
Of course those are not the actual words, but the general "feel" of Kroger responses. SO..........I would love to know if any HIGH UP corporate people are monitoring those Facebook posts??? It is all just a horrible mess at stores all around the country, from what is being posted on that page.
I don't do facebook either and refuse to sign up. I was able to browse thru the comments for that particular post once I clicked (not now) to sign up. Who knew someone was paid to apologize to fussy customers on facebook?
Lots of complaints about being forced to use uscan. Where's free Friday download? Complaints about being charged a fee for cash back. A clerk must have pulled the empty boxes out of the freezer and dropped them on the floor. Customer posted a picture and mentioned that they almost tripped over them. Several customers posted pictures of rotten and expired produce. One customer posted pics of deli sliced sandwich meat that was 3/8" thick! Another customer posted a pic where they removed the old sign outside of the store and slapped the new one over the dirt or old paint outline of the old sign. Another customer complained about the roaches on the shopping cart pest control advertisement.
I only read 150 out of the 500 comments so far. Humorous stuff.
Compared to those posts, I work in a really nice store....

Yes. It's company wide and will be getting worse because of the 3rd quarter earning's report. Kroger will send out all their executives and DM's and beat, perhaps literally this time, SM, ASM etc to fix all the issues in the stores lol.. They will be working 10 days a week, 200 hours a week and it will still fail because this is an issue that has been caused by years of mismanagement at the top - and ruining the kroger reputation for work environment.

And because Kroger is so despised no one laughed with them...rather attacked them. If they were generally liked and had a better rep - ppl would probably have just laughed with them..
Just remember "Fresh for Everyone" cost this company $40 million dollars-and it has been a disaster. Heads should roll over this starting with Rodney
Re-titled "Fail for everyone" Yeah that's the big push here - be perfectly: fresh, friendly and some other cliche.. It's not possible. Every time one of Rodney's projections to investors fail - Kroger tortures their divisions and districts to try and recoup the lost revenue..
This had to be some last minute plan to recoup sales losses, because this 1.99 cookie sale is killing us. We weren't given any extra help or elms hours to keep up with the demand. I'm on vacation now so tomorrow my department is screwed. We got nothing else filled today because all we did was bake and package cookies all morning.

Sounds good. The Kroger family of stores does not belong in anyone's resume. I take pride in my work, doing my best for the company and customers. Kroger paid me back by demonstrating every way they could think of that it strives to be the worst employer. Very ashamed that I ever even applied to work for these lawless bastards.
