Im interested in moving from Fred Meyer to Kroger down in the states. Would like to know if anyone has transferred how it went for them? My human resource said that I should secure a position before I leave and that she wants that store managers information to get started. I emailed management at the store telling him the same thing my hr told me and all he said was tell her to email him to get the information. but he didnt tell me if he still had room or not because he had room a couple weeks ago. What should I do?
What position are you seeking? You need to inquire to see what your wage and health benefits might be. Moving from one Division to another, you basically start over, except for Vacation weeks and original hire date. FYI....normal stores are nothing like FM and the culture is completely different too.
