Ours stops at 11-but I just read another post in here where the person mentioned that their store is 11:45 (??)

Honestly, it depends on the AFEM.

Some AFEMs at my store have started as early as 9:00 pm, while others wait until 11:00 pm.  Most prefer 10:00 or 10:30.

We close self-checkout from 12-6am so people have to go through a cashier. Too much potential for theft and the state does not allow alcohol in SCO.

We always have cashiers until close (1am) and then we have them there at open (6am) as well so there is never a time when it stops.
