It clearly says in my union contract that after 3 years if work we get a personal day. But management only paid 4 hours. In the past I've always been paid a full day

4 hours is for part time employees under my contract.  Fulltime are paid 8 hours.

Did you decrease your hours to part time?

It is possible to lose full time status if you call in too many days.

In the Louisville Division if you are part time and your weekly average for the qualifying year is less than 30 hours, then you get paid fours for a personal day.  If the average is over 30 hours, you get paid six hours.  Full time people get paid eight hours.

Nah this is for last year.   I will always put my health first so if I need to call in then I will. **** whoever complains or get mad about it. I don't give two shots if they mention it. They should pay me correctly and on time not have the nerve to bring up call ins. **** anyone who has a problem with that. And if they "forget" to pay me again, they can deal with someone with much more power than me who will not let them get away with it

Union only cares about itself - and feeding itself off your work. Its not much different then corporate leadership - The ppl up the chain get wealthy from your work and you get shafted.

This is true. The union is supposed to work for the employee. But apparently it's more important to uphold Kroger values. Hell if I don't work at Kroger, the union makes no money off me, so no skin off my back.
