Its time to take action against this unacceptable joke of a union. We are organizing a large group to attend the next union meeting to put a motion on the floor to remove all current leadership, it will pass and we will be represented by people who have our best interest in mind. Their inability to protect their employees from ongoing harassment is clear and will not be stood for. It is time to standup and fight for the union representation we pay for We will be bringing members of other unions to share with us what a union is supposed to do and does for them. Enough is enough, Ive watched workers rights get trampled on for far to long and now with Scott Hayes assuring an ongoing hostile work environment and the union sitting back and cashing our checks and not fighting for our basic rights its time for a change. The days of them being not held accountable are over. A website addressing these issues and an e-mail to send complaints about the union will be put in place and a packet will be sent to the labor board. Stand up for our co-workers and standup to be represented fairly. A link and a time and date will be posted soon. A march to their headquarters will happen and media will be present. Theyve sat i their comfy positions with their high salaries long enough. Its time for a change and its time for accountability. This is not the union I signed up for and then continuing to take our pay with no results and no repercussions is over and is borderline fraud. Lets band together to get what we pay for. Please share on reddit of possible. Thank you. Dont let them sit back and get paid while were on the front line getting bullied on a daily basis.

I work for Div 014 and in the local 75.  Everything you said is true.  Our union reps only come in and pass out buttons.  I had one Rep tell me something different that's in our contract book and when I pointed it out she said that's a misprint.  I said it's in every book and was in out paperwork when we signed the damned thing.  You mean to tell me with all the smart people in the union and Kroger this was a misprint.

Oh....don't forget about the "Mutually Agreed Changes". So the Union Member vote for a contact and then the Union and Company change things in the backroom without any notice to members. Request to see how much the Union Exec. make, its insane. Remember, Union Dues are paid on every check, the Union takes 7-8M away from member in 014 and what happens with it? Insurance is paid for by the company...... Also, if part of the Union Dues do to a strike fund.....ask how big the fund now.

there is no strike fund, they mishandle money and top executives make 50 times more than us.  grievances arent even being pursued and their kroger being kroger attitude is bull****.

the union is a fraud and has not held up their end of the bargain. id be interested in a class action suit to be honest, 14 years and ive watched the union steadily go from doing very little to nothing. lets make some noise, i am interested in every aspect of holding them accountable. the time is now for them to either move or get moved.

I agree that ufcw 75 is not like they used to be. I retired from Kroger last year with 32 years. I am grateful for my pension but I would be happier if Kroger had not cut the pension few years ago. I am missing around $400.00 or $500.00 because the union went along with this and union members voted this in. I have always voted on the contracts when I still worked but in 2018 was the worse contract I ever saw. The union came into the stores and told us we have a tentative contract to vote on and it was a good one. I am thinking the union is supposed to have meetings with the membership before you decide on a contract let us know what Kroger is offering before the union and Kroger try to shove it down our throats. Needless to say, I voted that contract down because the union did not do everything the right way. I always thought in the last few years that the union was in Kroger pocket. Years ago we tried to get a new union president in but the old union officials got back in because some of the membership voted them back in. Good luck but the current union officials will fight tooth and nail to make sure that they get to keep their jobs.

there is more of us then there are of them.  its just educating some of the employ on what a union is supposed to be and actually getting them involved enough to show up and vote these clowns out. if we show up at their office 500 strong they will have to listen and have to get off of their ass. flyers need to be made and word needs to spread.
