Buy more than 5 save $5
Permalink

So my store manager told me today starting soon, customers wont have to buy in increments of 5  on the buy 5 save $5 deals they just have to buy at least five. The Increments of five was one of the only remaining safeguards against the coupon shoppers. This is going to be horrible once the coupon shoppers figure it out

It's actually buy 5 participating items save $5.00. This sale has been occurring for years. It's the customers responsibility to keep track of the five. If an item doesn't come off check for the symbol +. That indicates it is part of the sale. If you count 7 participating items the 2 extra do not count. Groups of five. The customer must grab 3 more participating items if they want the sale price. Other times the customer is "claiming" that the product they wanted is part of the sale. if the + is not displaying next to "said" product then it doesn't count and the customer must grab the right product. The majority of the time the customer miss reads a price tag and the computer is actually more accurate than you realize.

No. The rumor is once you buy at least 5, you wont need to buy 10 if you only want 6,7,8,9. So after you buy five items you can get an unlimited number after that.
