Customers acting like d-i-c-ks because they think they own the place and b-i-t-ch through the whole f-u-ck-en order like little babies being a-s-s holes. Generally over some miss read price tag and act like a-s-s holes over it.

Laziness = promotion. Hard work = punishment.

****ty customers being @$$ holes will get praised for treating employees like slaves then threatening them. Managers kissing @$$ to them and punishing the guilty.

A coworker being a lazy @$$ will get paid the same compared to someone being a hard worker.

I work with a lot of coworkers who do a half @$$ed job and the company doesn't give a $h-i-t.

Courtesy clerks are treated like servant slaves rather than people.

Customers are di-ck-s to cashiers. Well most of them.

Lack of promotional opportunities. Will generally go towards favoritism or an individual of color. My last store proved this.

Prior educational experience means squat to this company. You could be brilliant and scrubbing toilets for a living and be treated like $h-it.

Individuals with disabilities will generally go no further than courtesy clerk work. Due to the fact the company doesn't think they're capable of anything more. I know I was c.c. for 5 f'n years before I threatened legal action for holding me back.

Customers are allowed to be @$$ holes to employees and get away with it. I had to threaten legal action and show them I wasn't kidding to make them realize the customer was a lying dick and I wasn't going to be written up for his ****. I filed a grievance and got them to change it to clerical error. I claimed it was a customer defaming me.

Stay away from the application web site.  They are trying to hack your stuff from the git go.  If they want you for the hiring process, read everything carefully, especially the stuff they would prefer you not read because "weer trying to get you hired!  whats with the attitude!".  Think, how bad could it possibly get?  Don't let them hire you.  This is one of the worst companies in the world.

Kroger takes work/life balance completely seriously.  Except, the balance is only work, no life.

If it comes down to it, they will deliberately sabotage your schedule if that's what it takes.  School at the same time every week?  Requested months in advance?  Funeral?  **** you.

If you're not retarded, that's a good thing since it should serve as a wake-up call to get a better job.

And since Kroger is at least the fourth worst paying corporation in America, you probably can.
