Hello, I have been a longtime lurker in here but never posted but Ive had enough. 

 

Today after two two days of hell and record sales out district manager Rich comes in, not to offer thanks or appreciation but just begins bashing every department on the way it looks (keep in mind 50 percent of our orders were scratched) he was bitching about signage and blocking whatever the hell that is.  The shelves were empty, the store overflowing with customers and the thanks we get is for this corporate manager to come in and just call us all trash basically. I have never complained and ive put up with some terrible managers BUT this is it.  Corporate has two options: fire this man or face public backlash from the exposure they are about to receive from the customers who witnessed this today (I have two of their email addresses and they said theyd gladly spread the word.  Customers shouldnt be apologizing to us for the way we are treated. Enough. Im writing a email to everyone at corporate and if anyone has anything to add please let me know.  I honestly can not believe the way i was spoken to and treated.  Especially after the couple days weve had.

 I'd sure like to see you do this. Any contact the local news media. But I highly doubt that you will.  All talk and no action.

Id Just tell mine screw off .. seriously . 300% up and still selling . I hurt . I need to eat. Im tired . My brain wont think. I almost vomited walking up the stairs when I got home . Any criticism is getting wrecked .

I saw a post from him on Yammer thanking the employees at a D2 store (923 i think, not sure which store that is) and i knew that was too good to be true...he's just trying to look good on Yammer. This here is the Rich I've met........

Our dm came in and started ripping us on store conditions and our store manager ripped him a new one and threatened to quit. This dude needs someone to show him some "cooler talk".

Right now, any manager that has the gall to complain about how wrecked the shelves are and why the store doesn't have this or that is a.) clueless about what's going on and/or b. is not fit to be a manager...

It will get worse for a while before it gets better, so they need to zip it on the complaints! The stores are NOT going to be able to handle this kind of volume in the long run...Most stores have never SEEN this kind of volume/customer traffic or sales numbers...I'll bet many grocery stores are already breaking records on their weekly sales! Food companies are already working at capacity to get more product made and employees are going nuts trying to get shelves filled, knowing it's a lost cause by the end of the day...We simply cannot get the shelves filled fast enough to accommodate everybody...It's untenable! Items are gone within the hour, and there simply will be items that we won't be able to get at some point...Anyone who cares that much about out-of-stocks at this point is out of their mind! That's just a harsh reality and IMO, the kind of reality some of us NEED! This is a wake up call, people! And every store from every chain across the country (and the world for that matter) is feeling the pinch! If this keeps up with no extra help to refill things, grocery stores across the country may be in for some serious problems in the days ahead...We all better hope things quiet down sooner rather than later...

I'm not from this area, but I've been reading what people have posted abut this guy. Now would be the perfect time for any of you to upload videos of him berating employees. Everyone knows the craziness going on in the stores right now. Just saying it would be the perfect time to take him down.
