They need to keep it going until this Corona thing slows down. The employees DESERVE it and the company CAN AFFORD to give us the extra pay.

Frankly, I'm sick of the whole thing. Less than half a percent of the population is showing any symptoms and yet the remaining 99.5% of the people have to deal with everything being shut down and people losing their jobs and businesses.  People say look at all the people who have died because of the virus.  To that I say look at at the people who have died from heart disease or cancer, or stroke, or accidents, or drug use etc.  In other words, people die every day for different reasons.  Why are they focused on this one particular one?  I'm not against protecting people who are vulnerable to the virus, but there are better ways to do it that don't screw up everybody else's lives.

I want to be able to turn on the news and not have 3/4 of it devoted to coronavirus.  I want to be able to enter and exit the grocery store through the door of my choosing and not worrying about customer counts.  I don't want to wear a mask and I don't want to hear anymore about social distancing.  I want to be able to shop and find everything I need.  The other day I needed to buy three items: bleach, flour, and crackers.  The only thing I found was the crackers.

I would believe most extra pay incentives would end after sales level off. Some stores were doing 30% more compared to last year. With the hiring of additional help they have reported, sales leveling off, there really isn't a need for extra pay. While everyone will need to worry about COVID-19 ongoing, people will start venturing out more and it will just be something we all have to live with. Will large sporting evens, concerts and other activities in closed spaces occur? NOPE. Will people be allowed to go our wearing a mask, told to avoid direct contact with people, YUP. Everything will open up, but everything will be done differently. ****, the world is lucky something like this hasn't been occurring over and over again. With Jets and a GLOBAL economy, this could have happened......SO MANY TIMES before.....any might have to a lower degree.

I wish all the governors and mayors that shut everything down would get sick and become incapacitated.  They don't have to pay the consequences for their decisions  It's been almost 250 years since our last revolution.  I think it's about time for another one.

What action would you have wanted governors/mayors to do instead?  Grocery Stores/Food Retailers will never be forced/or allowed to close outright.  If you want a revolution or rather a complete societal breakdown to occur, then go ahead and close all the food providers.  Part of food retailer is knowing holidays, weekends, evenings and everything between, yes, a health crises wasn't previously included.  What ideas do you have to allow people to get/buy food without a grocery store? If you don't feel comfortable working during this time, don't work.  Also, what consequences would have occurred if everything wasn't closed down? The Healthcare system doesn't have enough capacity even if 5% of people get sick and need a Hospital bed at one time.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that you're the also one who used the word "inbred" in the thread I just responded to. Why is inbreeding at the forefront of your thoughts, huh? Have you been fidgeting your little sister lately, and the risk of getting caught is getting to you?

I heard that some of the higher ups are getting $20,000 bonuses and they didn't do **** besides work from home, yet we should be lucky for getting PEANUTS working and putting ourselves at risk of getting the virus? Please!
