Face shields?

Does anyone have the face shields in their store? I haven't seen them in my store but kroger sent out an email saying "We recognize that some associates, due to medical reasons or other circumstances, may not be able to wear a mask. Were sourcing face shields to provide for those associates, and well also explore other potential options as needed."

I have asthma, and wearing those masks are like hell for me. I hadn't had an asthma attack in years until I started having to wear the mask at work. And even when I don't, I go home feeling more exhausted than ever because it's hard to breathe for 8 hours. It sucks.

We have a guy in Clicklist that wears one, but I don't know where he got it...I know there are some being manufactured, though...

It does make sense, though...If you can't wear a mask, a face shield should be provided...Any protection is better than none at all!

Those are shipped direct to store management.

However, to my horror, at one store they were put out in 3-tiers and sold to customers because management didnt receive any communication about it prior to delivery.

Ha.  Kroger communication at its finest.

I am not wearing a fu-ck-en cosplay outfit at work. This is getting ridiculous.

I have sensitive skin and I need to be careful what types of cloths I wear. Hell I can't even wear polyester clothing due to skin sensitivity. Heck I'm even allergic to several types metal. I can only wear jewelry if i'ts high quality. You won't see me wearing it at work. My skin literally burns and leaves a burn mark where the metal set. I have to make a lot of my own cloths due to the fact I have rash marks where certain materials sit. I am horrible at pattern adjustments so I take old cloths, cut them up for patterns and go from there.
