the district 2 manager Rich went into a store and got in a meat cutters face and when the meat cutter asked him to backup and mentioned social distancing, he got closer in the employees face. Is this not currently considered assault? How is this man allowed to get away with all he is doing?

File an ethics report. I didn't use to worry about the little details i.e. what you mentioned. After a while it got to the point of enough of this b.s. and started filing complaints left and right. If justice doesn't get served at least it's a ding on their record.

Because as far as I can tell, no one complaining about him has reached out to media for them to do a story about him yet. Headline: How Kroger DM treats it's "hero" workers in pandemic.

If this is a Union store. The first thing to do is step away and call your Union Rep. If not, call the ethics hotline..
I don't know how he hasn't been ran out of town back to California yet... it sounds like he is destroying d2.
If hes so bad, everyone needs to file a complaint day after day.....until its taken care of. Believe me, if 20+ people say something that was over the line, it would be handled.
I'm the one who wrote about the media. Based on what I've read about this guy (I'm assuming) people have been doing reports about him. Because everyone has been saying to report him and this seems like it has been going on for a long time. So, if they have actually been reporting him to ethics, then it isn't doing anything. If they haven't been reporting him, then that's why he keeps getting away with it. Just complaining about him on sites like this does squat. I don't work with him and I am not in his area, but the guy needs to go.
So, figure out if people have actually been reporting him or just saying they are going to. If they are and Kroger is ignoring this abuse, it's time to take it outside Kroger. Other wise, just keep putting up with his abusive behavior and be a sheep. You have no better time than now and these next couple of months to take him down.
