Heads up District 3, satan is coming - file a ethics report on everything, Kroger moves him from district to district until he causes enough issues theyre forced to move him.
Oh, joy. It's like when I went from district 2 to 1. Then found out six months later I got the same lazy union rep because he got transferred to district 1. For six months I thought I actually found a decent union rep.
Poor district 3. I'm glad he's getting farther and farther away from my store. They'll see soon enough and will have to start leaving a record of everything too....
Just think....District 3 is the district the Division President lives in./around. Just think of all the little nuggets of information, associates can share when the President is in walking around. I'm sure the previous District 3 Manager is loving having to drive to all the Dayton stores again, I believe she lives in the Mason area.
I've been following the discussions about this guy and I just have to ask who is he sleeping with or what does he have on someone higher up to keep his job?

He was one of the "chosen" ones to correct the "horrible Cincinnati/Dayton Division" (sarcasm). For years the Cincinnati/Dayton Division was stagnate with long term Store Manager, District Managers and Merchandisers, so job growth or new operational ideas were limited after a point. With the high sales volume and all the programs (Key Retailing, ELMS restrictions, etc) most people just stopped trying to push back on programs that were not working as intended (high sales volume stores) and just did what there were told to do. How many times did I hear, schedule to ELMS, you don't need any new associates, then the DM or VP would come in and say those are "tools" and you need to run your store and schedule more hours/people over ELMS (only to be told again to schedule to ELMS). So most Store Mgmt/Store Department Heads that wanted to better their Stores stepped down, quit of went to GO after a while, leaving a talent gap when retirements occurred. There wasn't any Talent Development going on before and I'm sure there isn't any Talent Development going on now.
While I know its great to bring in new people/ideas, it was a slap in the face to everyone in the Division when they established D6 after eliminating 2 districts. This district was established to "learn" how to run larger volume stores, which basically entailed, scheduling whatever hours you wanted and changing process, checklists (thing other people had wanted to established, but were shot down). ALL the District Coordinators/Manger people chosen from outside the KMA, and now overtime they became a VP, 4 of the 7 District Managers and other high level KMA leadership. I personally have nothing against these people, but think its funny how so many are now high level, but yet so many people in the Division were not good enough for any advancement. I'm sure they are qualified for whatever position they are in, but with everything that happen/happening, you almost think someone has their back!
